Distillery bottling, 46% a.b.v.

The nose leaves no question that this is a Springbank.  The restrainedly sweet nose shows tons of coconut, coconut bar cookies, fresh motor oil.  I don’t even know what to write for the palate, other than “wow”.  It is comforting, rich, and delicious.  It is somehow nostalgic without the nostalgia having a focus.  A superb bottling.
