Tasting notes for Glen Scotia 12 year old

Distillery bottling, 43% a.b.v.
These days a rare bottling. I prefer this to the current 14 year old issue. Nose shows caramel as well as mineral notes reminiscent of Pellegrino. A lot of nose prickle. The spirit rolls and floats on the tongue showing cashew and something I can’t place that reminds me of Bombay Sapphire. A surge of caramel in the finish.
Suggested for: After dinner
