Tasting notes for Glen Moray 16 year old

Distillery bottling, 40% a.b.v.

Non-complex cream-of-wheat, Dalwhinnie-style grain, and Curaçao aromas.  Warm, floral, straightforward on the palate.  A real easy-drinker, not dissimilar to better blends.  Clean and quick in the finish, with a sweetish, appetizing residue.  Makes one thirsty.  This won’t win many awards, but is actually quite nice for a straightforward glass of scotch.

Suggested for: Aperitif, or at a party, or at a bar.  Would make a lovely Rob Roy or Bobby Burns.
