Distillery bottling, 43% a.b.v.
Nose is charming and complex. The fino sherry comes through along with white grapes, perhaps underripe white peach, and the tiniest bit of smoke. Palate is gentle and maze-like in complexity, showing white wine and orange “Otter Pops”. A sweet-dry interplay and slight spiciness. Finish is very long, continuing the sweet-dry interplay, woody, with light smoke.
