Tasting notes for Glendronach 15 year old “Sherry Cask”

Distillery bottling, 40% a.b.v.
I am not normally a fan of highly-sherried malts, but this is excellent. Nose is sherried, rich, and fruity. Fairly full-bodied, round, with a little warmth. Palate shows caramel, sherry cask influence, and fruit, including the faintest trace of blueberry. The finish is delicious toasy oak. Quite pleasant.
