Tasting notes for Dalmore “Cigar Malt”

Distillery bottling, 43% a.b.v.

Somewhat gimmicky as it was specifically designed to accompany a cigar, but well-executed anyway.  Nose is very sweet, showing aromatic black pipe tobacco, vanilla, raisin, butterscotch, baking chocolate, orange.  Body is smooth and balanced.  Very sweet, almost syrupy.  A mellow smokiness throughout.  I would expect the duality to accentuate a mellow cigar (Arturo Fuente?) well.

Suggested for: With a cigar, perhaps, if you want to be creative
