Tasting notes for Bowmore “Claret”
» See All Single Malt Scotch Whisky Reviews «
O.B., 56% a.b.v.
A sweet nose with lots of grape. The palate is a good mesh between the cask and the whisky. Sweet, warm, creative. Moderate Islay undertones. Creamy smokiness and sweet fruit in the palate, umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum) in the finish. Unusual. A charmer.
Suggested for: With Dessert
