This list has not been maintained since the year 2001, and the books are all in disarray at the moment.

Below is a list of the books in my collection. I have perhaps thirty to forty that I have not yet entered, but I hope to get to that soon. I have sorted the books in the same order I do on my shelves: by Library of Congress (LoC) Call Number. (Yes, I have a sticker on every book, library-style.)

You can also view a list of the books I have read recently and the books I am currently reading, view more information on the LoC Call Number system, or search for a book in the stacks of the LoC. At the end of the list are some books that it seems I own and the LoC does not (yes, this is possible). I may cutter my own call numbers for them one of these days.

One short caveat: I have library cards, and I occasionally borrow books from others. The absence of a book from this list does not imply that I have not read it.

• Read: I have read this book in its entirety.
• Not Read: I have not read this book. Provided so that you can tell differentiate between books I have not read and books about which I have simply not provided information.
• Partial: I have read part of this book, but have not finished it (for an undisclosed reason). Does not include books I am currently reading, but does include some textbooks and many anthologies.
• Will Continue: I began this book, stopped reading it, but plan to return to it.
• Abandoned: I began this book, stopped reading it, and plan never to return.
• Textbook: Was purchased for a class. If there are no other blue qualifiers, it was simply used like a textbook.
• Referenced: I obtained this book primarily to aid in a particular research project.
• Reference: I refer to this book on a regular or semi-regular basis.
• Purchased: I purchased this book.
• Inherited: I received this book as a free hand-me-down after someone else was finished with it.
• Surprise Gift: This book was an unexpected gift.
• Requested: This book was a gift, but I had previously expressed an interest in owning a copy.
