And so Extreme Unction (Last Rites). Then they started to resent those pesky parishoners taking them seriously and waking them up at all hours of the night asking for EU to keep grandma out of purgatory so they changed Extreme Unction to "Prayers for the Sick". That's good for about a week and lets the priests sleep in. The RCs were close to this…but it was purgatory not hell.  And so Extreme Unction (Last Rites).
