Please — please — write.  Even if you have great health care, I don’t.  Even if you have great health care, you might not always.  I had fantastic healthcare until I was wrongfully terminated.

Here’s what I wrote. 

I worked in a high-paying high tech job for ten years, until I was injured on the job and illegally fired.  I am without health insurance.

A Senate bill that does not include a public option is a frightening step towards a corporate state, in which corporations are subsidized at the expense of individuals’ rights, potentially leaving health care in the same perilous state as banking.

PLEASE do all in your power to support a strong public option.  My health, the health of millions, and the health of this nation, depend upon it.
