Oh, trust me, there’s more to their uninteresting story. :p I don’t know why their antics appeal to me, I can’t explain it. But I don’t think they take themselves too seriously, I truly think they, like Paris Hilton, are smarter than they make themselves look on TV and are fully aware of how they are perceived by “the public,” and milk it and take advantage of it to get themselves more publicity.. And why shouldn’t they? haha

Punky Brewster was definitely before my time.

Well, yeah, Karina, I kinda do; it’s the point of this post. But you did a pretty good job, despite saying you weren’t going to.

“Ridiculous” is a good adjective to start from. Is part of the humor that they take themselves too seriously? Was Margeaux from Punky Brester before your time? Did I just reference Punky Brewster on mcgees.org?

Sadly, I know more about this subject than I wish I did. But I don’t think you’d want me to explain it to you. lol I watched the first Kardashian show when it was on, and now I watch the one that stemmed from it. I am a sad, sad person. haha ANYWAY, I don’t know why I watch them, I don’t hate them, want to be like them or get some kind of sick pleasure from seeing them ridicule themselves in from of a camera…OK, maybe that last one a little bit, but I guess it’s just entertaining. Some of these people are just too fucking ridiculous to pass up.

HOWEVER, this is only one of a couple of reality shows I’ve ever watched, and that’s only because the E! channel shows them at least 30 times in a week, so I can’t really say I go out of my way to watch them…
