I was still impressed that they got away with the following on <I>Arrested Development</I>: <B>Michael Bluthe:</B> "Get rid of the Seaward." I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, though, as that was one of the jokes <I>least</I> likely to get complaints on that show. I was reminded of this experience in an episode of <i>Dexter</i> I just watched -- a show in which F-bombs make up every third word -- when the line "You're kind of a cunt, aren't you?" was still profoundly jarring to my ear. But given the amount that the censors miss on the first airings of Seth's shows, that shouldn't be entirely surprising (they failed to miss Quagmire's rape of Marge Simpson and his subsequent murder of the rest of the Simpson family, however -- that only showed up on the DVDs.) By the way, I found out that mcgees.org is blocked in the free web browsing stations at K-Mart, because all the blog pages have the word "sex" on them -- in the goddamned <a href="http://www.mcgees.org/category/sex/" rel="nofollow"><i>category tabulation</i> in the sidebar</a>. Actually, I guess I could freely use something harsher than "goddamned", given that I'm blocked anyway. <b>This is not a kids' site.</b> That's why it is so difficult to keep the children with dead hamsters sequestered in their own little bubble.
