Cedars-Sinai!!!!!!!! While I have been very pleased with their service, although it was 30 years ago for the birth of both of our daughters, Ed McMahon is not. He's presently suing the hospital for failing to diagnose his broken neck. You better make sure (Although I really don't know how you can.) that your neurologist (If he checks you down below, he's probably a urologist, not a neurologist) and your fishy neurosturgeon are accurate with their dianoses.

Next time you're at Cedars, give me a heads-up. It's literally three blocks from my work; I can swing by and give you a visit.

Yes, I'm back home. Thanks everyone for the support.

I still need to see that neutrologist and neurosturgeon (think I got that right), but for now I'm home.

Thanks again, everyone.

Does this mean you're home now? What are relief that things look okay. Get lots of sleep and be good to yourself.

Josh,
Good news (so far) is the best news. I haven't meditated yet to shake up the cosmos, so we can't attribute it to my doing. I hope you were able to get some lengthy and restful sleep. I always had a tough time with hospital stays, albeit just a couple in my life, because the nurses were regularly waking me up to take temp, etc. Which hospital are you at?
             Michael

Hope everything is healing (and that you're managing to get some sleep).

It seems like everyone I know is going to the neurologist these days. It's getting to be alarming.

I'm glad to hear that no emergent conditions were found.

Thanks, Michael, and those who wrote by email.

I had a CT scan in the ER, which showed no abscesses or strokes, which took it out "emergent conditions", and basically got me the typical specialist response of "I don't know what it is, so you're probably OK." I have been referred to both a neurologist and a neurosurgeon (with the salaries the latter command, they should be called neurosturgeons! Ha! HA HA! A caviar joke! Another!)

OK, I've been up for 26.5 hours straight now, except for a brief nap during the CAT scan, so probably winding up and going to bed is a good idea. I'm a little punchy.

Josh,
I just read on the Internet about infections of the dura mater and I don't like it. I hope that your doctor's concern is incorrect. However, if he is correct, then I hope that you only need to take antibiotics and that an operation is not needed at this time. While I'm not into praying or wishable luck, I am a bit partial to vibrating the cosmos through meditation. I'll try not to shake things up too much.
