Footsteps of Man

A handful of eco-athletic types have embarked on possibly the most ambitious athletic activity of all time: a seven year, 40,000 mile walk from the Cape of Good Hope to Cape Horn, with short boat rides across the Red Sea and the Bering Strait.  Be sure to check out their travel log, full of striking pictures.  I was especially taken by the photograph entitled Beasts of the Karoo 3 – Angora goats in the gathering gloom before a storm.

    Hi, McGee,

I am responding to a very old post and I apologize.  I am trying to track down a dvd of the program ‘Footsteps of Man.’  The link on the BBC referencing the program doesn’t work for me.

You mention the photos.  For me they were intriguing also.

Might you have a live link? Or a sure way to contact the makers or producers? Or someone who could provide a copy?  I don’t have unlimited resources, however.

I appreciate any help you could/would provide.

    Thank you,

    Elaine
